Katie Fink has been involved in the horse industry for over 16 years.  She hails from Ohio, where as a teenager she showed dressage and hunters.  While earning her degree in Early Childhood and her minor in Equine Sciences @ The Ohio State University, Katie began showing Quarter Horses at both local hunter shows and the AQHA shows.  While she trained horses for lesson programs and her own personal show horses throughout high school and college, she gave up her amateur status after graduating college to teach and train at her old stable in the Cleveland, Ohio area.  In March 2007 Katie moved to Florida to work for Cecil Quarter Horses, where she was able to refine her training skills.  In January 2008, she took over the training and barn management responsibilities at Eden Oaks Farm.  She now focuses mainly on AQHA and APHA english and all around events and USEF hunters.  She enjoys all aspects of training horses, particularly starting horses over fences and getting both horse and rider ready for the show ring.  She does take a limited number of unbroke or very green horses.  Katie also loves to teach and has a number of clients both at the farm, and with their own farms, that take lessons and attend horse shows.
